How to purchase a gift certificate, and send it to a recipient online:
The following payment methods are available for your added convenience: (a) online payment by any of the accepted bankcards through OTP Bank’s secure website; (b) in person at our Budapest Wineshop; (c) via wire transfer (requires prior verification with our staff).
Once your online payment has been accepted, your gift certificate will automatically be activated, and you will receive a confirmation email of your transaction. At this stage, it’s necessary to give the contact details of the reiepient (name, address, email, phone number). As requested, you could be sent a postal notice.
Next, log in to your existing Monarchia webstore account, select the activated gift certificate under the “My Account” menu option, and choose the “Gift Certificates” link in order to email it, along with an optional brief message, to the recipient of your choice.
How to redeem an E-gift certificate:
The recipient of your choice will be sent your email, including the code required to activate the applicable gift certificate online.
If already registered, the recipient must log in to their Monarchia webstore account, or, if a new user, must first create an account with us online. In order to activate the gift certificate sent, enter the activation code provided in the email as received, under the “My Account” menu option by choosing the “Gift Certificates” link.
The recipient’s account balance will be credited the value of the gift certificate received, which credit will then be available – for one single transaction only - for future purchases or orders placed online upon check-out. May we recommend the total of your purchases be equal to or greater than the value of the gift certificate received.
Please note that each gift certificate may be redeemed one time only, regardless of the total amount to be spent, and, if applicable, any remaining balance will be forfeited as neither refunds nor future credit whatsoever may be given for the unused amount of a gift certificate. Furthermore, online gift certificates have no cash value.
